What did you actually like about the game, because it seems you dislike most of it.
Not trying to attack you on that, just curious since I wouldn't know where to start.

Performance still isn't super great, but it's mostly around the auto-saves and in the Mistlands biome for myself.

We have an extra boss as well as a new biome and some changes in an already existing biome.

Graphics are the same, and it's not the graphics that are bad, it's the art-style you might not be in to.

The grind is still very much present.

The go-to these days it to refer people to mods quite quickly, and I believe there is quite a list of them already at this point. So you could look in to adding some to make it more enjoyable for yourself.
