I don't like using commands and cheats and just want to know if this was justified or unjustified cheating

Yes for sure cheating, just look it up on the cheats list:
-Bone Mass ability
-Bringing level 2 wolves outside of your base
-Dev commands to retrieve dead body, especially if it was lost due to broken mechanics
-Metal chest or pants
-Poison resistance potions
-Frost resistance potions (once you have the frost gear its cheating)
-Heavy shields
-Heavy weapons
-Kiting with bow or killing anything besides drakes with the bow basically
-Sniping with bow while sneaking
