It would be interesting to me if we knew more about the thinking the Devs have on Magic in general. Did this and other Mods inspire them for example? or did they always intend it but couldn't figure out the mechanics pre launch?

Player magic in the background theme is a bit a of a mixed feeling for me. I LIKE playing mage types as a rule but in Val it seems curiously off topic somehow? Hence really like ot know the thoughts of the games direction from the Devs to understand the underlying vision here?
