At current price, this would be a grab for me but it all depends on what you enjoy and on the world seed.

You could get a seed where you need to do lots of travelling and exploring for getting to bosses and collecting ores or all the resources/bosses could be near you. I am on my second world and here i have 5 biomes on a single landmass but on my first world i needed to build a basic raft to get to the first boss and hunting for skins was not enjoyable for me.
You could spend literally days building bases, mining, taming animals and farming or you can use the same amount of time just doing the basics.

There is mining and some farming that you need to do but otherwise you generally get enough resources while naturally exploring.
