World generation is unlike Minecraft or any other procgen game that I know of. Effectively what it's doing is cutting a circle from a larger map of deterministic islands so the geography of every seed will be very similar and in fact often have major landmasses in common. It's all archipelago all the time.

Unless you overwrite it with a custom map of Azeroth or w/e.
