It actually is in most cases, unless you're willing to dedicate 3 inventory slots to stamina potions. But when you're deep into the wild and your closest portal is too far, the best course of action is to quickly make a fire (you can find stones and wood everywhere) and sit next to it for 8 minute buff. If there's a storm, find a natural shelter or find more wood.
