Full disclosure - after the severe winter here in Texas our swimming pool needed quite a bit of equipment/piping repair. There were shortages of basic pcv pipe fittings and pool equipment because everyone had the same busted water lines issues. I jokingly brought this up to my daughter and she gave me a reply without looking up from her phone, "I'm doing this right now".
The 'this' was a paint by numbers phone app..........

I reacted as was appropriate and said to both of them, "Well, I'm going to go play a video game".

Somehow the irony went completely over their heads.

My boyfriend normally plays with me, he just hasn't been able to get into Valheim (he hasn't given it much chance). Normally whatever survival game we play Im in charge or organizing material and building. Bossman normally goes out and gets material/explores. We handle new biomes and bosses together.

Sounds about the same as my partner situation. Shes builds and I run around and collect items and scavage. Very cool!
