Initially I thought the night cycle was way too long, but once (if?) you get the stage of wanting to hunt night creatures, you'll find it feels about right at 10 minutes.

Now I think that the day cycle should be lengthened, though. It's 20 minutes I believe, it should probably be more like 30. That would move the day/night ration to 75/25% from it's current 66/33.
