Definitely, the reason why I wanted a flamemetal club type weapon is because my character already maxxed out the club skill, and i like the designs of the club weapons so far, cant wait for the future ones.

I don't bother with maxing out any skill, but you really ought to move with the times and start developing your sword skill if that's important for you ;)
I shifted from blunt damage and my trusty Frostner before I killed Moder and the silver sword or dark metal sword is my favourite weapon of choice for melee for now, at least until Mistlands arrives.

Id rathee not, but good on you for shifting. I have high hopes for future blunt weapons.
