I actually agree with your husband, @Shalindra. The minimap is too small even when zoomed fully in. Scaling the UI helps, but it also makes the whole rest of the UI larger....which I don't need nor want.

Just mho, but the minimap scale is too small as compared to the rest of the UI. Tell your husband I'm glad to hear at least one other person agrees with me.
