You gotta learn how to take advantage of the abominations, I don't think anything will attack a boss on purpose, but the mobs that do AOE will help you take out any ads that come your way. Abominations will attack Fulings and other non-swamp mobs and you can ride them if you learn their pattern and jump at the right time to avoid them throwing you off. They're also the only mob that will give up on you very quickly if it can't get to you.
