spare me the alpha excuse, this is a basic mechanic that is too easy to implement, since all the elements are already there. It's beyond ridiculous, it's game breaking, and it doesn't deserve the money.

How about you go tread water while wearing a full set of armor and tell me how that goes? Treading water takes energy in game and in real life. Seems they made swimming pretty spot on.
