Congrats on your progress! I'm still lagging behind you - still in black forest. Have taken a break for a bit from that run because.. well stressing out! I'm terrified when cutting trees especially when half of them turn into delayed action booby traps.*

I'm trying to plan things so that I can move the essentials of a main base using a single cart and, eventually, a few Karve (or single Longship) runs.

Had a bit of a scare a few days ago when I looked out the upstairs window of my new base (then - was just starting copper mining) and saw a Troll across the meadow at the edge of the Black Forest staring back at me. He made a nice pair of pants.

I've not done much sailing as yet, sticking fairly close to the coastlines and just scouting while mining tin. Anyhow, great to hear how you are doing and hope your run continues successfully.

PS: watched a 'permadeath (though not noportal) run by a 'content creator' who shall not be named. I winced at well practically everything he did - taking lots of unnecessary chances.

* I've found that I can more or less disarm the tree traps with creative use of the hoe. Not entirely trusting it because sometimes a log will vanish only to come falling out of the sky a minute later!
