Find it a little funny that the devs put their rather small teams time and effort to put out a nice quality of life update but people are trashing on it cause of how long it took. I must have missed the part where everyone knows how game development works. Yes with the amount of content added to the game it was disappointing how long it took but that doesn't mean the devs don't care or made a bunch of money and are abandoning the games dream. We have no idea what happens with the game whether it be balancing, issues models, bugs etc. At the end of the day we all love and want to see Valheim prosper. For a $20 game I can say this is one of the best survival games made imo and have certainly gotten my fun and enjoyment with the game and that'll continue to be the case however long they take with the games updates and additions. I can't say there are many games out there with that price tag and have gotten the same amount of hours put into it. Long development times are disappointing and annoying most of the time but the end results are usually worth it so they don't come out buggy so that the people that are mad about the wait aren't mad about the bugs and while it may not be a huge update Hearth & Home is a good addition to the game, can't wait to see more content that Iron Gate puts out for this amazing game.

That's the problem with society and the internet these days. Everyone wants it right now, wants it perfect, and if it's not, they complain. I miss the old days where if you beat a game, it took a few years for the next one. I get it, not everyone was affected adversely by the pandemic. If you weren't, congratulations. (sarcasm, deal with it)
