Build roofs with the actual roof tiles as floor tiles will let rain through and will decay your base.

Build your first base in the meadows.

Enemies won't spawn in the radius of work benches or campfires.

To repair items use the little hammer icon at a work bench. It costs no resources.

If you must dispose of items, throw them on the ground outside of the white work bench circles. The items will disappear after a couple of in game days.

Use the little shield and block right as an enemy swings at you to parry and stun them. Makes killing trolls easy.
