Now, tbh it isn't like I have zero problems with it, I just do not consider it a major issue. After all, there are only a couple mouse clicks you can do to open/close/repair/destroy/attack/drop/use/etc. so to complain that one of those simple clicks doesn't work the same when you are in build mode as it does in combat mode is a bit of a reach.

I am much more interested in pathing issues, balancing crafting/combat, steep learning curve with little/no guidance, redrawing land features as you excavate/build, and the weird spawning events. So, this problem, while I have noticed it, didn't even register on my consciousness until I saw this discussion thread.
