You little kids are mixing difficulty and playability. X3-Terran conflict is my favorite game, hard as nails, so is Subnautica and many others. This game is a case of lazy development, where they try to cash in singleplayer market by fitting a sloppy LAN SERVER mode to add the 'singleplayer' tag on steam - many such games have this flaw, like Conan Exiles, 7 Days to die, Outward, etc. Few did it right, like Terraria, No Man´s Sky and Planet Explorers.
