True, but considering Fire Arrows are better for nearly everything up to this point, I've been using them. No need to clutter storage/inventory with something I won't use. Fire Arrows are easier to craft anyway, as Flint is annoying to amass.

Normally I do, but when making Iron runs without a cart, you're pretty limited on space; even with the belt. I can carry ~35-40 pieces at a time with all essential items and literally run them back to a chest not far from my base.

Sadly, there are numerous streams/creeks I have to cross to get back to my base that I can't reliably build a road/bridge for; so doing it this way, using Eikthyr, is faster for me.

Nope , fire arrows only works well finishing black forest ( but trolls , for them are far better flinthead than fire ) , everything in swamps resist fire so nope , and in the time you are in the mountain you can craft obsidian or frost arrows
