You can even set up a world at a borked seed, set up a small base with lots of chests - or carts if you prefer those - as storage, mine the resources in your "good seed", log out, log in at the borked seed, unload all ores in your storages until those are full; head to your main base in your good seed, log out, load all ores from the borked one and repeat that until you got what you need.

Some would consider it cheating, others would consider it as bending the game abilities to the max. No matter how you think of it, it is a method that can be used. Albeit a bit time consuming.
