They should let me re-design this for them.

The way some of my friends have it set up is that there is one portal from their home base. Then there are multiple portals throughout the world. When they want to go from Home Base to Portal A, B, or C, they just rename the Portal to that specific location.

So instead of having a pair of portals for every destination, it's just one home portal, plus the destination portal.

Of course, it's not the best way, but it is what it is.
