Not really. The skills don't really seem to give THAT much of an improvement(except Jumping which doesn't really seem to improve landing last I checked).

Skill loss is really more insult to injury most of the time

Well, except if you consider dealing +20%, +30% or +100% average damage is THAT much of an improvement in certain niche situations.
