I personally use nexusmods.com/Valheim. Click the Popular (All Time) tab to see the best mods out right now. The only thing off-site you will need is BepInEx which funnily enough is on valheim.thunderstore.io. Meh, I already use Vortex for other games, so I keep coming back to Nexus.

Valheim Plus is a must have mod that allows you to change many things about the game, making it easier if you want.

I'm pretty sure Nexus does have auto-sort mod there, along with a "reveal all" map mod (not sure if that's what you mean by sharper map). There are also mods that auto-pin points of interest on the map if that's what you mean.
