I use the knife as my primary weapon. Never made a sword/mace or spear... I also don't use shields. I run with knife/bow and light armors.

To date, I have done most of my progression playing with my wife as the "tank" on our server.
I also play a single player world where i have zero issues solo with this build through the Iron age.
On our server, I have dropped trolls one shot by sneaking up on them in the troll cave and using the special attack to the back. (fully upgraded abyssal razor) The silver knife and the black metal knife are nearly OP IMO.
I have always played "rouge" in other games and Valheim has the mechanics to make this build work.
Sure I use copious amounts of arrows and cheese and kite when it is necessary.
