Entire game is playable offline, no net required except for download.

As for content so far, without trying to spoil late-game too much, there's 6 bosses, soon to be 7 with the Ashlands update. Each boss is vastly different to eachother, and themed off the biome they are in. you got your standard melee weapons (swords, axes, etc.), ranged weapons (bows, harpoons, etc.) and more late-game.

You can go fishing, which just got recently expanded upon.

For armours typically through the tiers there is a second option, the main option for armour being heavy but durable and tanky (bronze armour for example), and the second option being more light, nimble and focused on a certain skill (troll hide armour for example, increasing your stealth)

Building is pretty nice, with a creative mindset you can pull off some pretty awesome builds (see build of the month), and occasionally you will be raided by enemies as well, not too hectic but good for a quick gain of resources and materials from them.

Can't say i've played nor heard of Kenshi though, so i cant really compare it to that.
