This is the real answer. If you enjoy most of the game but hate other parts, mod the parts you hate and enjoy all the game. It is your game. You paid for it. Make it play like you want.

My angst is that I feel like a great game shouldn't "need" cheats/mods/cheese. Valheim is a great game ... but the issues are starting to stack up and I feel I'm being pulled to the dark side and may have to turn to mods if I want to continue to enjoy it.

Lots of rage-quits. Sad to see.
