Dropping a portal and going back to base for the full 25 minute rested bonus is actually less tedious than dropping a campfire every 8 minutes for the same amount of work.

Also, the amount of time I have to sit is irrelevant. Forcing the player to sit around for any length of time doing nothing is bad game design. Making this change without adding more sources of comfort only serves to waste the players time.

Both of you and Mr. X are the exact opposite of helpful. Consider silence as an alternative to the useless white noise you're posting.
