I’ve played the game with my friends a lot. But at some point in the game you’re overwhelmed by the completely unnecessary obstacles you keep running into - not having slots for armor/weapons, sorting loot in crates all the time, look through all containers when having to craft things, just to mention a few.

The pain associated with these outright ridiculous things lowkey pressures you into using mods
I suppose everyone has their own tolerance levels for inventory management and logistics when it comes to games, but personally I've not had as strong a reaction to the points you mention.

As it relates to slots for armor/weapons, I see that as simply a functional request that the player's inventory be larger. I typically just streamline what activity I'm doing that I don't wind up with inventory clutter or carry around items I don't really need. Mixing that with a variety of outposts with portals in areas where I collect loot and it's not really a problem to store items with the space the player's inventory currently has.

For crafting, I just tend to put containers in access range of the crafting station being used to minimize going around having to search for things.

For every 10 hours you spend playing Valheim, how much of it are you spending on inventory management?

I am not criticizing the size of the inventory, the size itself is actually fine! -- simply the fact that everything equipped gear is among other things in the bag. lets be real: If you equip a weapon, it is not in your bag and in your hand simultaneously, right?

Relating to your last question, we've spend quite a bit of time cutting and sorting things for the individual containers. More time than i think should be nessesary honestly. I do think a reconsideration of base storage would be appreciated by many players. Sometimes its the small things in life <3

All things considered, when they continuously add more bioms, players will have to manage more and more differing items. At some point it becomes a bit unsustainable.
