My lox experience is small and short but a couple of Deathsquitos took 2 lox down to about 50% hp before becoming greasy smears. I'd guess with the right scenario one could 1v1 a lox. Chances would still be very small and the situation would require a unique setting. Maybe a lox already jousting with an enemy could get zapped a few times or the lox be unhealed from a prior fight.
