Agree. Valheim and No Man's Sky are both great games with awesome devs behind them. Many studios can learn a thing or two there.
Is that so? Does making a good foundation for a game with super slow updates make for a good dev team now? NMS at least had some more player interaction than dropping a small post every half year.
Like talking to some devs that have been working really hard and kept in constant exchange with their community, that statement is fairly insulting.

I hope that other studios don't learn from these guys and think cancelling their update plans twice and just drip feeding content after crazy profits is okay.

We get that you're impatient with updates but:

1. Devs do keep in contact with the community not just in fireside chat vids but other sources too. Just yesterday they showed off something one of the devs was working on on twitter even.

2. Saying their communication is only once every sixth months is an intentionally, absurd exaggeration on your part or just intentional shenanigans.

3. If you're expectations are that the 10 devs for this game should be daily responding to posts like yours or such, I think most who support this game would agree that their time is much better spend not being so silly.
