I'm building a large stone castle in the mountains currently and I'm having huge success with the iron rods as framework for my walls and floors. I am doing double walls as well, so the grid of rods is sandwiched between the two walls. If something breaks, I literally just stuff as many iron rods in as I can and then put a new piece back in. It's been working so far! Lol

I did reach the limit earlier on height, but it's pretty massive so I'm happy.
