Well another thing is that, there's skeletons and they use swords shields and use bows. Skeletons are actually super freaking magical believe it or not. Unless you've seen a re-animated some how floating around IRL. OH there's also these blob things that shoot out goopy other things. those are pretty dang magical.

I think you might just be reacting to seeing something that is literally a "Direct" confirmation of "Magic" in your mind for the first time and its an epiphany of sorts if i would presume.
