I think some kind of antivirus is quite important. Really, a cryptomining virus infected my computer and was mining when I was not using the computer, if I opened up Task Manager I could see that process hogging 100% cpu and then vanish because it noticed I had opened Task Manager. Scary stuff.

Dont be as stupid as I was and let your guard down when it comes to viruses.
