Nono, this is actually a fair point to make. What I like about this game the most is more of the minecraft-y or terraria-esque feel. The idea of starting with literally nothing and building up through progression, gathering resources (although despite me liking that, I'd prefer it to not take a solid 10 minutes to mine a single "ore patch"), and I think the building is actually really nice, if a little awkward to manage at points without experience. What did you actually like about the game, because it seems you dislike most of it.
Not trying to attack you on that, just curious since I wouldn't know where to start.
I don't remember the combat much, at all. I haven't written anything negative about it in my review, so it's probably good enough to be passable, but generic enough to be forgettable.
I remember having a few tiny qualms with the UI, but overall I believe it was nice. Again, from memory.
Overall, I think what would make me re-visit this game would be more content between the absolute start and the bosses, and between the bosses.
It previously felt like you'd start from nothing, grind up skills (that you could permanently lose on death) super slowly and get a few mediocre items, then battle it out with a long-winded boss battle. Then, you'd unlock mega powerful items for that stage of the game, spend hours grinding those materials to get full sets of items, then go find the next boss and fight them. There just wasn't really anything in between that boss-grind-boss loop.
Terraria, for example, has "new" biomes to explore the moment you beat a boss - New enemies, new items, new equipment, new challenges. It's not a boss rush back-to-back with grinding pushed in there.
