^ This. They probably should increase the base amount of stuff you can carry, both inventory slots and weight, but until then, or if it never comes, mods can fulfill our wishes.

I use Valheim+ to increase my inventory slots and weight limit a ton. It's so fun to go out and explore for several hours straight, see dozens of inventory slots filled with thousands of pounds of materials and resources, and bring it all back after a good long adventure.

The way it currently is, you basically go out for maybe 30 minutes, fill up, and that's it. Adventure over. Time to run your meager haul back to base.
