To fix it you have to do some drastic stuff. People were saying to use third party programs etc but the easiest fix is probably to reformat the drive and reinstall windows.

Not sure if this game will work under open GL or DX 12 but you can try those launch options in steam to see if it helps.

I'm sorry, do genuinely recommend a drive format and complete windows re-installation as an "easier" fix than a fresh driver installation using a DDU?
