Valheim is a Multi-Player game and is balanced for that. I never had any issues while building. Probably because i mostly build in the meadows and nearly always with access to the sea. Yeah the resouce requirements are pretty high but even 2 Players make it quite easy to get all you want. You have to be a little bit creative of course. If you get 4+ Players in discord/teamspeak the game really opens up a lot.
