I just find it strange. I'm a sniper player, for the most part. I like to hunt with bow and arrow, though targeting could use some fine tuning. Anyway, I can get the 'missed and they didn't hear it', but unless you one shot them, they are coming straight where you are at break neck speed. I know this, cuz i high tail it out and I can see them searching the area I was standing. Anyway, doesn't seem to be a way to be a sniper, unless you are a one shot wonder. Enemies are never confused, except the animals, but that's on par with expectations.
