I don't think people have changed much at all. Perhaps the internet just makes it easier to people to expose their feelings?

It isn't as though the forums are flooded with this kind of thing. Perhaps at times in the past but certainly not now. Feels kind of late to be tooting a horn about the issue.

In the long run I have learned to ignore such posts in general. I think a lot of the root of the issue is that the game is so well done, and hits the right spot for so many people who play a wide variety of games, that people just love it so much they want more of it.

I think it is great that they love the game so much they hate on it for not having more. It just shows their level of love!!

Don't take the hate so seriously.

I do feel bad for the devs who probably do take this stuff more personally, I am sure they can't help being human and all. But they should stand proud for their creation. Try to take pride in the naysayers as well... if they truly didn't like it they would never take the time to complain.
