Last night I left my character standing on the roof of a temporary structure I built to tame a couple of wolves. I'm sure I spent over 3 game days there, running around repairing walls, killing a couple hundred skeletons from multiple skeleton events, just to realize (I assume) that the meat that I dropped is in a crack that they can't get to, so it's all been for naught so far!

I dropped in some more meat and saw the yellow hearts, so, off to another few days of fun!

I was hoping to make this quick and easy by not digging a bunch of holes or making a large structure, but I guess it's penny wise, dollar stupid in this case.

FWIW, last time I used one of the circular buildings, which worked quite well, since it's underground, but it was also surrounded by drake, which, apparently like to one-shot trained wolves, or whole packs of trained wolves if they're close together!

Edit: Brought up the game and almost immediately got the "wolf has been tamed" message. Yes! Now to get them to my base...
