I already have to have work benches everywhere, which is an insane requirement, and very restrictive.

Now I'm finding out that just to place this sconce on this wall, I need to have a workbench practically at my feet, then I need to get all the extra materials, waste them building a forge, and THEN I can put up a sconce. Why? It makes no sense.

"But you can get materials back by removing it!" is what I've been told before when making complaints about workbench restrictions. THEN WHY IS IT REQUIRED IN THE FIRST PLACE? It's just extra steps if that's the case. It means to put up a single wall light, I have to build two crafting stations I already have. It doesn't make any sense. It doesn't balance anything out. That's now even remotely close to how it actually works in real life, and this game does all sorts of nonsense to mimic realism, like wood rotting in rain, so I don't want to hear "it's just a game" in regards to it not needing to be realistic.

I cannot fathom why you have to have crafting stations nearby to build. Especially not multiple stations for a single wall light. It's completely absurd.
Damn, gamers these days will just find anything to cry about instead of just playing the game the way it was meant to be played. Or not play it, your choice.
