Haven't tried, but I would imagine they could. It's so very darn easy to roll the logs, even uphill, that they appear to have little inertia and/or mass. I don't know if they would hurt the berries. I do know that they do absolutely no damage to structures when they land against or on them.

They do however, destroy the sapling trees when they fall on them.
