The content exists in the code to craft certain something(s) with flamemetal.. but that is not available to players at this time. At least, not without modding.

Don't bother stock-piling, it will be a while. Next update iirc is Oceans biome. Then Ashlands. I suspect maybe 1.5 years ahead before it hits PTR, but that is just my speculation.
