Consider the idea that maybe a large part of the qualities you like about Valheim are in part because of a small team. "Too many cooks spoil the broth."
It also takes time for people to become net-positive.
Certainly, it's possible for them to grow and put out quality stuff faster, but there is a lot of risk it doesn't go that smoothly. And changes like this have momentum, so if things aren't great... it takes time to realize it, and more to course-change to fix it.
I absolutely don't want them to rush. This game is how it is because they're taking their time to do things and rooting out the problems beforehand. I want them to keep that up. But I think having more than 5 people working on it wouldn't kill it. For example, if each of those 5 are doing a specific aspect of the game, get each of them a helper.
My main concern is the seeming decline in interest a lot of people are showing. A lot of the threads here speak of the game in the past tense; like it's already dead with no reason to play it and no one having any interest in it anymore.
I feel this is a very bad thing for the game in general. And I admit I'm curious as to what's planned for the next area as well. That's all.
