also 2x 2stars is EXTREMELY rare. so youre either insanely unlucky or it was just one 2 star and not 2.

also this isnt a BOSS DEN at all. its a regular dungeon like burials and crypts. these didnt have bosses or rewards for doing a FULL CLEAR either. so not sure what the thought process here is on why mistlands dungeons should be different all of a sudden.
The thought process is fairly simple and can be found in the initial post - if an infested mine has been generated with a deeper part, with a larger room that contains higher level enemies - would it be preferable to include some sort of reward or loot in these instances?
Burials and crypts were often cleared by me because they were quick and easy enough to search through, but these infested mines are more intricate, they are larger and have tougher enemies. There's greater risk in clearing them, often with relatively little gain.

Question posed: Is it good as it is, or could the incentive to push deeper be increased in any way? I like the randomness of the cores and shards, so perhaps something else would be preferable.

...and yes, it was two 2*seekers + one 1*seeker soldier. I wasn't prepared to fight them at all and just managed to flee. Not that I feel unlucky about this, I'm just not inclined to go down there again without a good reason. Which is why I'm posing this question.

the enemies are random aswell. these "larger rooms" dont contain star enemies more often than any other room in the game. you simply experienced a bad spawn pattern there. can happen when the entire game is procedually made sadly. but these larger rooms are nothing special to begin with. they are just "larger" rooms.

of course the mine is more dangerous. youre way later in the game. the game is supposed to get harder as you proceeed farther into it. so that makes perfect sense that it takes longer and is harder to do.

the core "incentive" once you get 15 cores anyway. you only really need 5 cores. as currently they just arent used for much. same for the sealbreaker.

the main incentive to revisit mines is royal jelly. but thats about it.

there is not much reason to add more incentive to them when the same wasnt done for other dungeons either. some of which are entirely pointless.

plus new dungeon type is comeing to black forest next month anyway.
