An SSD, or HDD, or Steam's cloud? Depending on way too many things where the file is might make the issue worse. If that is what the problem actually is, of course.

Satisfactory v 7 had auto save at 10min. It sucked. I moved it to 30min and it is much more tolerable. My PC is a bit old, so no SSD much less the fancy one on the motherboard.

Yes i have auto save turned on my saves are stored most likely on steam cloud since i reinstalled my pc when i installed an m.2 to install windows on it and i had all of my saves still left
