I know my view will be unpopular but I do not think Iron Gate Studio (IGS) caters to whiners.

Here is the unpopular part. I doubt IGS pays much attention to all the whining that goes on in the Steam forum. I'm sure this forum is checked regularly to see what new features are put forth but requests to nerf or automate aspects of the game are cheerfully ignored.

Input for play balance and quality of life are probably gathered from a much smaller sample of players. Players who have demonstrated an affinity for the studio's concept of the game.

Please note I am not suggesting that anyone withhold their opinions regarding the game. Just don't hold your breath waiting for IGS to validate them.
