Nope you didn't. Mobs from different factions fight each other, just dropping the aggro would make fulings/squitos murder most of the swamp things before going down.

Then you just pull mobs one by one... NOT by arrows, those make sound and everyone will go investigate. And you have nice 1v1 with the boss.

The preparation of fight area is the same type of work as gathering sacrifice resources.

Also abominations are pretty chill mob to fight after you learn what they do. For example if you stay close to the left leg (your left) it will never do head stomp and miss with hand smash, then you parry every other attack which is whip and cut it down with an axe. There is enough downtime that you can even fight other mobs at the same time.

If you have too many other mobs on you, run around trees, abominations are fat they need to move around stuff while other mobs go for you directly so you can cut them one by one.

I'm surprised they didn't instance the boss fights, TBH.
They did once and look how it ended up :lunar2019crylaughingpig: Worst boss fight in the game and it even can/could escape the instance haha.

Tbh i prefer the randomness, even if it makes the game unusually hard at times, its always a fresh challenge/puzzle to solve.
