There have been quite a few discussion threads on this topic and even though the developers may not pay attention to the Steam forums they do seem to sympathize. Expect that the sliders will likely modify the progression and regression algorithm[valheim.fandom.com] so that folks who do like to get the skill enhancements are getting what they can play with.
