It's a sp game unless you decide to open your world for friends or strangers. There are also some with dedicated servers but you have to find them.. this game does not have good anti griefing stuff.

So that out of the way. I played 70% of the game solo until now. And I even prefer being alone. My coop friend mostly fights and dies.. eats everything away and cries when getting killed without him paying attention.

But if you think that the forest is boring alone... I guess you wouldnt find much enjoyment here solo. I mean.. here you grind... you fight.. you craft and build.. you prepare yourself for bosses and hard biomes... making your own adventures .. and thats it until you are done with the content the game provides.
