Maybe the hole behind them is too small and piglets cant fall down. If the hole is too small and there is no room in the breeding pen, piglets will spawn at the nearest ground i guess.

oh, no the piglets fall down just fine -- was only able to get 3 breeders to fit on the floor space. It is the breeders that are at random completely glitching out of the structure. I am going to try again but starting to get very frustrated -- also the glitched pigs were far harder to move around after glitch. I had to use berries to bait them close enough to the edge of the pit to push them in -- Lol; totally annoying.
